The objective of the ICH GCP guidelines is to provide a unified standard for the European Union, Japan and the United States to facilitate the mutual acceptance of clinical data by the regulatory authorities in these jurisdictions.

All personnel involved in the clinical research process should receive regular EU Directive and ICH GCP training. Staff involved in a clinical trial that is being audited will have their training records are reviewed during the audit process.

Scope runs 4-6 scheduled training days on the EU directive and ICH GCP per year. Scope can also run individual training courses for companies, hospital personnel and Ethics committees.
